A looping lo-fi excerpt of felineterror's song 'r-s 5'. There is alot going on under the hood here, everything from an analog bass exciter, feeding into a audio rectifier, creating that unique bass tone. A highpass filter, feeding into a delay. And then a tape emulator, featuring frequency loss, tape degradation and wow'n'flutter. Other versions of this remix:. . Since my ears can't hear any frequencies above 14khz (please remember to wear ear defenders around loud machinery! thank you. <3), i can't hear tape hiss very clearly, and are afraid i might overdo the volume. Therefore i think its best to leave any tape hiss up to you, if you want any, there's plenty of recordings here on freesound, for example this one (cc-0). 120 bpm | original by felineterroruse this however you like!. Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.

Raw percussive type synth sound made by hitting muted string on a guitar that is connected to boss sy-1 synth pedal with a palm of the hand. Best used with a sampler and a lot of effects.

Maybe this is a bit too loud. The overdrive and the crazy percussion instruments adds a bit too much on this loop. I think it needs to be refined.

A 16 bar drum loop made in ableton with no samples rendered at 44100khz and a bit depth of 24 with triangular dithering. The drum loop runs at 140 bpm and the buzz on the bass/kick drum isn't audible when layered with a track.

This kick was created in fl studio 12 using the drumazon plugin. The kick was distorted using the fruity fast dist plugin and the fruity parametric eq plugin.

Free to use without restricition. No attribution required. 50 seconds of ghostly wails over a dark sub bass drone with wide stereo reverb. Produced by using two old school analog synths, a cs-80 and a dx7. All chorus, phaser and reverb settings were manipulated within the synths. An external hi-pass eq plugin was added in order to cut off the subs at 30hz. These old analog synths produce frequencies way below the tolerance of your monitors; thus the need for a bass cutoff, not to mention to also prevent involuntary bowel leakage xd.
