This is a recording of two men hauling our dumpster to the truck and emptying it. I stood stationary while they did their work. I've recorded them before, while walking with the dumpster. You can find that sound here too, if you want it. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, sound devices 702t.

Camera noises. I pressed shutter button of nikon f4, which i bought 15 years ago. It is full-automatic action, and you can hear splat the shutter makes, motor-driven film winding-up, and slight harmonics its aluminum chassis plays. I recorded it using audio-technica ae5100 connected to presonus firepod.

These are the ambient sounds of a sailboat underway. You hear the sounds of wind-filled sails, the tugs on line, and boat parts movement as the boat is moving through the water under a steady wind. You can hear when the boat changes direction from being close hauled to more down wind. The zoom h4n digital recorder was used in collecting this sound. Enjoy.

A recording of my bathroom ventilation fan shutters clicking in the breeze. The fan is not on so you can hear birds in the distance, and the wind in the tube-shaped fan chamber. When the wind blows it catches the plastic shutters and they rattle and click. Recorded very close to the fan with two dynamic microphones, there is virtually no bathroom ambience detectable. I'd be intrerested to know what this could be used for!.

Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

Spring at noon time, a russian olive tree is swarmed by bees gathering the nectar of the tiny yellow flowers. You can hear a distant motor, magpies, and a wind chim. I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. These sci-fi synth sweeps were created by manipulating white noise with filter sweeps and other effects and then using noise reduction to remove the underlying white noise. You would need to pick through them and cut them up, but they can be useful for sound designing light graphic elements that move around and animate on and off.

This is a recording of buttsbury wash, which goes across a small road in essex, uk. At about 1:15 a car can be heard going through the water. The water is quite deep and the car stalled after it got to the other side, though managed to restart. The recording was made with a sennheiser m6/k6 attached to a zoom h5.
