Recorded during the heatwave that the uk endured in 2022 this was a recording made from the garden on august 25th. The recording starts with gentle rain which slowly becomes heavier. Around 25 minutes the first distant rumble can be heard. From 30 minutes onwards. The soothing sounds of thunder and heavy rain. From an hour on the storm moves away and the rain eases.

This was recorded on july 4th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too. I can just imagine the sound of hundreds flying over in ww2. There is a bit of distortion as the plane flew directly overhead. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

Noise left after dithering and phase canceling a tone. A tone was created with audacity's tone generator. Another version of the tone was made by downsampling and dithering the original tone in ableton live. I then phase cancelled the two sounds by switching the polarity of one of the tones and blending them back together in audacity. Because of the phase canceling, none of the original tone can be heard. Only the noise added during dithering remains.

This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up. So i put my recorder in the drawer and leaned. This is the result: four squeaks of unparalleled irritation. I hope you can find a use for this in your projects.

This sound is piece of night atmosphere i recorded years ago with reel-to-reel nagra4 and mkh416. You can hear night ambience of large hangar with lot of silent insects flying directly to electronic trap light and burn in very close detail. Another detail sound comes from hiting the metal body of film light.

Recording in the cafeteria of pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). A sound of a metal knife and fork is the main sound and in the background we can hear the typical sound of a cafeteria with a lot of people. It was in the lunch time and the sound have high frecuencies due to the metal contact and middle-low frecuencies due to people talking.

Wav except instead of recording on the window sill, the device is hand-held aloft in the middle of the veranda and closer to the ceiling. The rain on roof sound is louder and less rain can be heard striking the glass windows. This recording was made with an iphone 4s fitted with a tascam condenser stereo microphone in an asian restaurant in bern. We hear the sound of the restaurant with people eating and chatting while the open kitchen is busy washing and preparing dishes. Recording of a button sound from a vintage teac hi-fi stereo amplifier. Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
