A recording of the small eiderbach brook flowing through the eiderbachtal in rhineland-palatinate. Occasional birdsong can be heard. The recording was taken at an idyllic spot where the small creek flows over pebbles and around rocks, in the dense vegetation of trees and bushes. It took a while to make the sound, but here we are. Just a long, reverberating and multi-faceted fart sound made with my ample arm, sock over the microphone, in a small sound booth. No extra noises. Editted a few together from different tracks to create the 'overlapping' effects of the smaller ones, added a few effects, and was used in a 'toon of mine (kind of 'butthole of the world' volcano going off, suffice to say). Not as wet sounding as i thought it was going to be, though. Can be cropped, etc.

I made this pad sound by starting with a traditional saw wave and mixing various effects together such as reverb and chorus. The wav file also has pre-defined loop points that can be used in samplers that support the functionality. Note: there is a slight static noise that is present when the sound is played through the freesound player on the website, however, the static is not present when played outside of the freesound audio player. Digital noise made from raw binary files extracted from hdd with hexplorer using raw import function in audacity. Files were 4, each made from 200 sectors. I modified each sound using filters and joined them together to make longer looping example. Good to use in a game or 3d video animation as background ambient noise. Audacity and hexplorer are freeware and you can make similar job with them. . .

This sound is about 9 hours long from the evening 13rd of april 2014 to the morning on 14th of april. First 2-3 hours aeroplanes passed by. Sound description: hundreds of crows squawking on a breezy afternoon. In nature you have a "gaggle" of geese or a "pod" of whales, but a "flock" of birds, if they happen to be crows is actually called "a murder of crows". An appropriate name if you happen to be standing underneath hundreds of them in the trees. They emit a murderous ;) squawk and screech for hours. This was a digital audio recording, done at 48 mhz at a group of trees a mile from a country freeway. You can still hear the ambient sounds of the distant cars.

Blood gushing fall to concrete floor; created by pouring a water/corn syrup mixture onto my foley artist's arm over a concrete drain. Towards the end you can hear my foley artist start laughing because the mixture was splashing everywhere lol. . . Still a great clip and we used it in a horror slasher film to simulate blood gush from a stabbing.

Passed 1:05 is where you can start hearing a bit of the woman. Passed 1:55 is where the woman gives out some louder moans. The sex noises is from 1:05-4:37. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

I thought i would do a recording of me listening to truckers on the cb radio while i was seeing if i would pick up anything. Surprisingly, i was able to receive something because sometimes i don't pick up anybody because barely nobody is on it. Sometimes you can understand what they say but sometimes not all the time. I made this by playing a piccolino recorder and then adding reverb to it. There was a loop ready-made in garage-band that i used as a model but then changed it because i didn't want it to loop. I added flourishes so that it ends. This is the intro for an audio book i am recording but since i created the sound, i can share it. I would be happy if anyone else wanted to use it. No need to give credit etc.

This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids. Experimental recording idea i had in summer 2017, i buried two contact microphones half a foot deep in a rock beach and captured the noise ambience picked up in the rocks, as well as the tide coming over the microphones eventually. Recorded x/y stereo with two audio technica at4041 mics into a marantz pmd 661 recorder. Normalized plus some eqing using fabfilter pro-q3.
