This is made in vcv-rack a virtual modular synthin the left channel you hear a "quantussy cell" working. In the right channel there is a krell patch going.

Around 2010, i circuit-bent a motorola cellphone and added a control surface to control the bends. Then i added an atari paddlewheel so its big potentiometer could be used to do pitchbends, and the result is an instrument i called the "sonic electronic ball breaker". It's got knives, quarterstaves, thor's lightning, sharp sticks, nuclear machineshotguns, and even some claws that come out to jab 'em. In this sample i'm going through and playing with the controls to see what i get. These sounds are pretty abrasive, but they work well when run through a bunch of effects.

A krell patch.

Arcade ambience: here you can hear the stark sounds of an arcade. With electronic beats as background and the crashing of machines and games in the forefront. Bumper cars bumping into each other creates beautiful crashes and the laughter and mumbling of children are ever-present. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in an actual arcade. This sound is great for setting a mood or scene and thus creating a soundscape.

A punchy snare hit made in ableton live. Created with 4 different snare samples. One synthesized in native instrument's massive and the other 3 from a free snare sample pack made by my stoner mind. One of a series of recordings i made from a hikari monos cv. It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. These sounds might serve you well for game and ui sound design! recorded into a universal audio arrow.

Nice trick working with doepfer a-101-1 vactrol vcf. Noise to lp in. Gate to cvf in 1 out straight to mixer. Low frequency. High emph. Lp 0, bp about 5 and hp 0. Added a bass and my sampled voice. . .

Variable speed on main trigger. 4-step shift register made with sample and hold modules. Looping envelopes with varying speed. The sample and hold shift register does not preserve pitch frequency very well.
