Rain: this is a very subtle rain sound. It is not sharp but it is very constant. The droplets are hitting hard ground. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This sound is great to add volume to an already existing rain-ambience.
Not that great of a recording, but this is the loud sound of hundreds of cicadas in a tree outside my home in nashville, tennessee, in 2011. These are 13-year cicadas which emerge in large numbers every 13 years in summertime. Recorded with an iphone.
Just decided to contribute to this great website today. : ) just got my mic, and let out a good "hey. . . " llolz. Then put a nice adobe audition delay on. . . Some compression, and wahlah!!!.
Recording near a computer fan and hard drive. Not great quality recording. I had placed the mic right where all the air was blowing. Sounds best on lower volumes.
The tail end of a song from an lp including vinyl crackles. Unprocessed raw audio from a turntable. A great sample for electronic music, hope people use it in interesting ways.
Recorded by us in 2010 with professional actor ro j. Goodwin for use in the movie carter's nightmare. A sound idea for a man falling to his death from a great hight. Owned by rigar uk. That's us.
Stephen shiell's recording at scoby sands for the yarmonics sound library. Deep far away wind and waves breaking at scoby sands. Part of the yarmonics sound library. Sounds of great yarmouth recorded as part of the yarmonics sonic arts festival sept 2018 by various contributors. Festival organised by the norfolk and norwich sonic arts collective and originalprojects. Www. Yarmonics. Com.
Giant electrical discharges. From flash gordon's spaceship. Loud echoey booms with a vibrating hum, similar to an jet, following. Reverberant. Hum would also be great for a sci-fi score.
Bach's "overture (suite) no. 2 in b minor bwv 1067: vii. Badinerie" converted into an 8-bit, chip-tune ringtone. It makes a perfect loop, so it is great for call ring-tone.
A sound of boiling water, great for kitchen background use. You don't have to credit me anywhere but if you liked this sound effect, please let me know in the comments where you've used it. Thanks!.
Some simple claps i recorded with an sm7b. Raw and fairly unedited. (some gain compression used to boost the low-mid frequencies. )great for layering on top of each other! -eg.

First is a charging laser, and the rest are shooting lasers, i'm making an outer-space game and these sounds i made/modified are great for games with repeating lasers and charging lasers.
A recording made in the middle of a small lake, facing towards the city. Mostly distant traffic noise with a great big natural reverb. Recorded with a zoom h1. Some hiss removed afterwards.
Garage door opening, electric motor, single garage. Edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).
Can't remember how i made it, though its a great to mess with. I played around laying chords underneath, beats and stuff. Sorry cant remember bpm. Enjoy! :).
Deep bass groove tracks were created with audacity and some great stuff i downloaded from freesound. Tags: deep bass drum 120 120bpm loop beats rhythmmy music.
Foley recording of a envelope. Works great to use for picking up a note or something like that. Feel free to use :) there are three different paper sounds on my profile atm.

I am a non-smoker and usually never cough. I hate people who are always coughing. I could go days on end without needing to cough. My lungs are in great shape. I am faking it here.
Placed a thick sweater fabric on a pillow and recorded me slapping it with an open hand. Great sweetener for punches. Cleaned recording with rx4. With a little bit of limiting, compression, and bass enhancement i'm sure this will sound great for your needs!. Equipment: zoom h5 and rodes ntg3. No processing. Please post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!. Text me if you want to have fun and talk audio. I love hearing what people are up to in different sound communities!702-860-9869.
