Apple imac is a silent computer. I don't hear almost any noise from it, but i tried giving a microphone-sweep over the screen, which surprised me. You can hear various kinds of noise in a close audition. A dynamic mic.
How would a frightened galaxy feel when coming to close to a black hole? well, i can imagine it if i am 1 mm tall and am sitting on the edge of the washing bowl in my kitchen and see and listen to this sound.

The sound my normally quiet kitten made when he encountered another more agressive cat i was fostering at home. This is recorded using a samsung s3. I have cut out some bit of (human) conversation inbetween the first and second sequence of meows.
I don't remember making this, but i'm pretty sure all i did was run some white noise through bassboost a couple times. It works for earthquakes, distant tiger roars, and other subsonic sounds.

This is an underwater ambient loop i created for a game-jam project. Since the project was nothing but good fun, i have uploaded some of the more useful sounds to freesound. Org for everyone to use. The sound was created by layering hydrophone recordings with filtered noise.
My apologies forehand to those of you whom recognize their sounds. I will try an backtrace my steps and find the individual sounds i used to create this. It is a mish mash of several sounds to try and create an eerie atmosphere of withces dancing around the bonfires at beltane.
I was recording choking sounds when i accidentally gagged a little too much. The sound is too gross for my usage (you can hear the stomach bile rising) but maybe you need it! recorded in mono on my large condenser cad e100s.

I found another pair of dogs around the corner from where i found the first two and they were even growlier and scarier. This neighborhood was junkyard dog central! some great slobbery barks. Audiotechnica at22 > marantz pmd660 > edited in wavelab.
This sound is an audio file that slowly breaks up the further it is played. I recorded this with an in-built microphone, no idea what make though. I recorded this on audacity, and added gradual distortion. Warning: you may need to turn down the volume for the last 6 seconds!.
