A sound from 2006 i created and found on one of my old dvd's with this new external dvd drive i just got in from ups. Pretty nice modulation if you ask me. I forgot how i made this sound.

This is the sound of a snare drum after i added reverb to it and slowed it down about -81 percent. By the way, this morning, i purchased a very interesting book entitled "harmonograph: a visual guide to the mathematics of music" by anthony ashton. I haven't read much of it yet, but it is explaining how eye-pleasing shapes can be created by utilizing vibrations and a harmonograph. I think you should check this book out. Made with audacity.

Sounds like the jaws theme song bass sound. These sounds are actually an xm with a changed file extension to. Wav, and then loaded into a wav editor which converted it to a readable format. I then removed the unbelievable noise to see what i ended up with. After that, i cut out the parts that sort of sounded cool and these are some of the ones i am willing to let everyone have.

An one minute narrated soundwalk describing sounds in west la near century city. I started on the edge of the block right outside the f&s fabrics on pico. I then walked south of the f&s and continued for a minute describing the sounds around me. I recorded this around the afternoon so i was able to hear the wildlife up and about.

I recorded this to use as a sound effect in a play called "pentecost". The sounds i recorded were made by a college class in a theatre. I used a crown sass to make this recording. Here it is mixed with a sound clip from syna-max called war with other sounds as well to create the finished effect for the part of the play where the painting explodes. I also have just the crowd noise on here. After that the police jumed through the wall and started shooting people and i played a sound by matt_g called m240.

Rarely can i manage to record the sound from a cat in such strong emotion, so i rolled the recorder for 1 minute with guilt. I gave my cat a fish can afterward, so don't feel sorry when you use the sound.

Echoey, creepy piano loop from a song i was working on that may never be finished. This collection of kitchen sound effects was captured on a tascam dr-07. I carried the recorder around the kitchen opening and closing drawers, the refrigerator, and clattering/clanking plates and silverware. I even did a water pour into a drinking glass. After recording i edited the sounds in protools using a variety of compression and limiting plugins. I hope you find this useful.

I remember i broke something off of a soda can to make this sound. It just sounds like something breaking, could fit in many cases. Moth-organ is a forgotten instrument. Sad, because it's amasingly useful, and a professional (which i am not)can create many interesting variations. I play only three tones, but listen, it's a cool little thing. I used the best available: hohner 'rheingold'.

I want to point out that the sample that streams on the website has a small static noise in it. . The original, when downloaded, will not have this noise. I made 2 versions of this one, the one i kept for myself scares me more than this one, lol, but this one has more stuff going on in it.

This is a narrated soundwalk on a hill. It involves wind blowing leaves and trees, and a very weird bird sound that i can not identify. I walked back and forth between the area where this sound was recorded. There's always the sound of my walking and miscellaneous sounds i may not have mentioned in the minute.

I removed the aerator from the kitchen faucet and didn't get it turned off. My coffee cup filled and this sound resulted. I thought, sounds a little like water falling into a pool in a cave; so i added reverb to this file. Iphone and external mike. Reverb in audacity.

Fils, i recorded a sound of heart beats (beatbox) that i have multiplied + a laugh on a different track. A put a paulstretch effect on the laugh and i superimposed the 2 track for creating a sound of horreur film like a gosts' film.

I recorded rain with a train and eventually a car going past from my window with a shure super 55 (the only mic i have) so this recording is in mono until i get a stereo pair.

I changed the synthesizer's ranges and played a bit with reaktor's structures until i realized i was playing with the frequency range. The result is a radically different sound that sounds more like a machine.

A water faucet set to drip in a chaotic manner, without much regularity. I put a plastic container lid under that for sound to be more pronounced, but that added crunchiness and now it doesn’t resemble dripping as much. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised in audacity plus filtered bass out a bit. P. S. I need to say that i foolishly recorded it into an im app and the recording ended up as. Ogg, so it’s not as good as could be. Still i hope there is enough spectral richness left. I should have used a dedicated recording app which writes. Flac files, i just hadn’t thought. A music part i did in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I started with the drums. Once i made a beat i liked i added a choir singing "fading into the night". I needed a rattle-snake sound for a tracklay so recorded myself shaking my salt and pepper grinders. Considering i recorded this on a stereo mic in the bedroom of my two-bed flat, i think it came out pretty well!. This is the processed version, which has been through noise reduction and high-pass filtering (soft cut off begins somewhere around 200hz). I believe that this has drastically improved the raw recording, but if you would like to use the original and process it yourself, feel free to send me a message and i will upload it.
