Sound effect recorded for animation, i think i recorded it with a cheese-knife.

Tried to record the rain, instead, i got an earful of bird. Perhaps someone may want an earful of bird. I do not.

To create this sound, i created a sinusoid of 500 hz and an amplitude of 0. 8. I then multiplied the speed of 0. 750. To get this final sound is to duplicate the sinusoid several times.

A sci-fi energy gun sound i made out of these weird vibrating back massagers and whatever else i could find.

I created these chimes on online sequencer and then i used audacity to add some effects to it.

I created this sound with a yawn is sighing. Then i changed the sounds in adobe audition cc 2014, avs audio editor 7. 3 and finalized by a stretch in audacity with a paulstretch effect.

An abberation breathing. This was done by foley work i was doing for ballad of the seven dice. I modified my voice with numerous effects in audacity to change the pitches and used reverb to give it that strange feeling.

Whispering saying "what the frick do i say. . . ". Good for dark music or casting a spell or evil.

Spanish female voice recorded with a stereo microphone. First i reduced the noise, then i add some echo and adjust the pitch.

I used my vape to make a gentle snake hiss. Worked out rather well, most hisses i've found barely had more dynamic than white noise. I think this fills the request for a snake hiss that's more dynamic. I will also upload this as a rainstick because it is similar.

Then i selected 5 good hits and applied logic's offline compression and destructive fade envelopes. I loaded them into space designer and it produces deep/bright/spacious reverbs.

So, not being an expert with audacity, i just went down the list of 'effects', trying each one, until i found "paulstretch", which somehow increases the time length of your sound file, without stretching as in 'elastic', which would deepen the existing tones, and apparently, without copying and pasting. The sound does change somewhat, becoming just slightly ragged, but it's a very interesting effect for this application and actually got used on both elements to produce the final sound. . I hope no one enjoys this sound and can't imagine that anyone will. It makes me feel slightly sick. . Info edited 28 oct 2021: with my tinnitus at it's current level, i will never, now, be able to reproduce it again, primarily because i can't hear any sounds i create in a detailed way. A one-take recording of someone trying to do a dutch approximation for a suspenseful audio drama, i tried to clean it up as best i could and final form will be cleaned up/lower volume/panned out to sides. I placed a radioactive towards a series 900 mini-monitor (gm tube), starting from about 50cm away. Saturation is reached 5cm away. I repeated moved the rock towards and away from the detector over a period of 2 minutes. I used a zealsound microphone and recorded directly into my laptop using audacity. The sound is as recorded.

I recorded this with a yamaha pocketrak that i taped to the feeder and enhanced the vol. With sony sound forge. It was fun to watch their reaction to the recorder but they eventually figured out it was harmless.
