Peek-a-boo. A defense mechanism that may follow a "wardrobe malfunction. " that's a really complex term for a sometimes unintentional free show. That's right. I'd guess that about eighty percent of them are premeditated.

Representational approaches to field recording are bullshit. On another day i will explain why i feel this to be the case. But it centers around a critique of the distinction between representation/reality, along with a critique of the concept of mediation. Mechanical openings, heartfelt wanderings was recorded with a tascam dr100mkii and a rode shotgun mic. One sound taken from the 'microblocks, vol. 1' percussive found sound sample-pack. The sample-pack features 135 unique field recordings culled from the ordinary soundscapes of santa cruz, ca. Find and download (for free) the rest of the sample pack here: https://fieldrecordingworkinggroup. Bandcamp. Com/releases. The sample pack comes with an accompanying essay describing the method, politics and historical context of the sample-pack.

This sound is produced by one of the eye tracker experiments at cbc (upf). These experiments are oriented to newborns and it analyzes their brain cognition by stimuli. As researchers of the center for brain and cognition, we work to advance our understanding of how experience influences the emergence of structure and function through computational and experimental investigation. We are also interested in understanding how mechanisms regulating brain development interact with the effects of experience to produce the structural and functional characteristics of the brain. These lines of research clarify how specific biological mechanisms routinely support the emergence of cognitive functions, leading to insights into why experience is so important for normal brain development. I asked for a fabric shredder because i couldn't find one, and i knew my dearest would knock himself out trying to. He didn't either but he did have one made, probably at considerable expense. It's a cute little portable unit, i think made of a modified paper(?) shredder, powered by a geared motor from a battery-operated power tool. It's probably a dangerous little work of art. So we're getting dressed in the bedroom after opening gifts on christmas morning, and i decided to try out my new toy. Good conversation, mechanical whir.
