This lovely little toy piano has been a member of my parent’s home since before i can remember. These days it falls under the jurisdiction of my 4-year old niece, who was ever so kind as to allow me to record it!. A recording of, to me at least, is the symbolic sound of the later summer woods, when the blue jays become more vocal. These beautiful birds stay here in southern illinois all year long, and are a welcome flash of color and blue crest once autumn begins arriving. Now, i have always thought this call of the blue jay is not the prettiest or melodic at all; in fact, hearing the call of a blue jay can be a bit unnerving. . . But, to me, it is symbolic of the " wild " ness of nature. . . One of my most melancholy nature sound. . . Recorded on september 12th 2020 in southern illinois using the sony pcm m10 recorder with built-in microphones. Enjoy this sound!.

One of autumn's most signature sounds is that of dry leaves skittering and tumbling as they ride along on a hard surface. In this case, the hard surface is asphalt. Hardly any other sound, just the strong autumn wind, and bunches of dried out sweet gum, maple and oak leaves racing across an asphalt parking lot. Think of it, also, as the sound from our youth, our careful youth when everything was achievable. At least for me, this brings me back to my happy place. As i was working in an incidental sound i was continuously recording. All i saved was the ending. 2 seconds. But the sound is nice. Something in-between bass sound and bass drum sound… if you find use of it let me know.

Expect some sick sounds from me!i have built the eurorack module jupiter storm. It's described as a "cosmic noise oscillator". Now i will learn how to tame it. . . So easy to generate totally sick sounds.

This is a recording of me opening my flashlight, taking out the battery and putting it back in and closing the flashlight again. It's been a while since i uploaded anything, and i know how common flashlights are in video games so i thought why not.

Formatted for the make noise morphagene. This reel consists of a spliced breakbeat. The final splice is the whole loop without any splices. Trashy drum kit, recorded by me, re-sequenced with elektron octatrack and played through a crappy speaker.

Double bass bowed harmonics. Bass played by houston guy, recorded with a shure ksm44, 24bit mono. I was producing a song and asked mr. Guy to give me some noisy strangness just to layer in for texture and he performed admirably.

Just a small sound of me crushing a can, then distorting it and adding so scale-shift. I really like it, sounds like one of those sounds for a ui, like menu hovering(!).

In the city of aarhus, denmark, very early morning the empty train station gave me the chance to record the diesel engine of the regional train's locomotiverecorded with tascam dr-10048000 hz stereo, 16-bit wave pcm uncompressed.

I want to point out that the sample that streams on the website has a small static noise in it. . The original, when downloaded, will not have this noise. I made 2 versions of this one, the one i kept for myself scares me more than this one, lol, but this one has more stuff going on in it.

The friday call to prayer in the old city of jerusalem recorded from the mount of olives. I only had a cheap digital audio recorder with me and processed the file using audition noise reduction tools. For uploading the file was compressed using quicktime. It's attenuated but i kind of like it.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

I've recorded several variations of piano riffs, but left in the 4 best ones. It was difficult for me to remove the key tapping, so i left some key tapping alone at the end, if you want to try to remove it from the riffs.

A flock of sheep (150-200 animals) in the middle of the park "englischer garten" in munich. Used regularly there as lawn mowers. Slowly approaching, surrounding me in the end of the recording. Vocalisations from young and old animals, as well as movement in the gras.
