To make these sounds, i hit my knuckles onto a thin sheet of metal on a bookshelf. The last sound on the recording was also made by dropping a coin onto the same spot on the shelf. If you use this in a project that gets released online or elsewhere, please comment and let me know about it! :).

Recording of myself playing a home-made instrument constructed from a large suspended metal door affixed with bits of thin aluminum sheeting of varying sizes and bent at varying angles. I "played" this by striking and plucking the bits of aluminum and recording the results through a piezo contact mic adhered to the door.

Preparing coffee on an old wood-heated stove. You can hear wood-chopping, fire crackling, pouring of water into the pot, metallic noises from the stove. Recorded in an old house in nykarleby, finland, with atr25 stereo microphone to sony minidisc recorder.

Impact of a metal missile thrown against a window. First the windows doesn't brake and you ear the sound of the metal on the floor. Then it beaks and you ear the pieces of glass heating the floor. A clothes dryer makes a mechanical noise, because of a cloth which knocks against the edge, making loud noise. Rhythmic and metalic. Here recorded from the corridor next door, in mono, with h5+sgh-6. Other perspectives available on my profile.

Several sounds combined to approximate the sound of someone getting smacked with the butt of a pistol. Whip crack with a metallic clank and a wet crack as it hits bone/flesh. Simulated by layering a whip crack, a punch, a metal clatter, and a squish made from stirring pasta in.
