This is one of the soundtrack cues that i completed for a psychological thriller, short. . . . . The director cut all music but liked it- it is a good piece for background to smooth out visual and dialogue for a darker genre.

This sound i recorded on thursday the 5th around 7am local time in charkiv. It is one take recorded with my dmr85 hbb mic. Unedited, no gain, raw.

A conversation that happened in the kitchen. Warm for the time of year, a man steps in to play basketball on a corner paved lot. Just one basket and no refs, the two free-throws he is offered are almost unheard-of. Maybe some of them didn't like his looks. Likely too they know what he does for a living. Likeliest of all he was playing well, but for sure the woody that won't quit had come to call, and they probably liked that least of all. So he steps up to the foul line and the first shot zips the net. So does the second one, but even before it gets there, someone jumps in behind him, grabs hard and and zips his pants all the way down. They aren't around his ankles, though. Close one, he's standing on them. Worse, a local crowd has gathered. Only the stunned aren't laughing or pointing or cheering. You put your pants back on and go home, what else can you do? game over.

This one is overdone by experimenting with too many vst filters. . . ^-(. . . Urban ambience with local residents talking, some moderate, yet constant traffic, a plane at the end and featuring the sound of love. Includes people talking in the background, some distant cars, a church bell, one or two planes about to land, people opening and closing the back door. As special appearance, there is someone having a joyful time (or -less probable- screaming of pain repeatedly) throughout the whole lenght of the recording. All of these snoring audio clips on my profile are real recordings of my husband’s snoring!. This one is very loud snoring from the get-go! could be a great sound to use for chewwie! or in a horror film, whichever one comes first. This is the first instalment, recorded from my ipad to play it back to my husband and decided to make use of the audio. Tried to find a similar effect here without finding one, so i had to make it myself. It was made in an interesting way; i spat in a toilet (and recorded it). Then i added some nice reverb, and viola.

Two drum rolls of differing lengths, played in logic using the ezdrummer extension which adds drums to logic that don't play too late. I couldn't find a good drum roll sound on here so i decided to make one.

One minute soundwalk with no narration. I started at f&s fabrics and moved south down on manning avenue. I was able to hear the wildlife without having to focus on narrating, which ruins the natural sounds around me.

Recorded on a pearl drumset. Only one of the tams, the bassdrum and the hi-hat is played. Recorded in a practising room located at the the former base for the american military in iceland. Recorded through a yamaha preamp. Sound altered slghty in cubase, adding reverb as well as compression to the file. Enjoy !.

Dove: the cooing of a dove is achieved through foley. Vibrato is added to an almost owl-like sound created by blowing air into ones crossed-over hands. It is a subtle cooing and varies in tone, tempo and amplitude. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

In broekhuizen, near arcen, lies the old ferry named grubbenvorst, dying on the river maas. It has been replaced by a newer one. The old one lies rotting away some hundred metres away from its old trajectory. It was very windy that day and the carcass of the ship was mildly rocking back and forth resulting in this beautiful creaking. The occasional thud is the boat hitting the construction it is lying in. This recording was made with a zoom h2n on 4 channel mode. It was then further edited and processed using reaper. It was recorded on april 3rd 2018. The zoom was protected by a rycote windshield and my own cap as an extra windbreaker.

This is a short wavefile of really bad drums and a crying baby. To be used properly, it needs to be turned way up. This sound has a story behind it - i made this up for one purpose, and one purpose only - to temporarily blast my long-term loud neighbors into realizing that 'they' are now the victims. They "were" relentless at playing loud music continuously, and it was a hot humid day,no air-con, and i had a lot of wine. That's all it took - so i blasted them(at an amazing close range)with 200+ watts of drums'n'babies, just long enough for them to figure out that this just might continue, and that it isn't a nice sound. Bottom line - the technique was highly effective.

Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. Very annoying high pitched alarm. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create an alarm clock or a ring tone with audiogen synthesizer. I went with as much annoying sound as i managed to produce.

Made on fl5 back in 2005 for one of my first rap beats. . Used a pluck instrument on fl5 to create this loop. Has a harmony on the second time around on a higher octave.
