C add 9 b5 chord played through a journeys synth using bell saw massacre voice at c3 for six seconds. Converted to audio file, copied, copy reversed and two files merged with automatic crossfade. Now 16 and a half seconds long.
This was made from a 2-second stutter on a voice recording i was doing. I pulled it and played with it, looking for the various ways i could manipulate it. At one point it started sounding spooky and a bit dramatic. I kept going with it, and produced this.
This is a 2 bar 120 bpm bassline with one dry and one wet play thru. The effect on the wet half is a simple filter morph, raising the cut-off on a low-pass filter thru-out the loop.
For "young frankenstein" i recorded three cast members howling. For play back, i'd vary speakers, delay, volume and echo effects to get a nice surround and spooky sound, that sounded a little different each time.

Just a sound of a person who smokes, not very good quality but playing with equalizer and other effects, you can have a nice final sound. I recorded this sound for a personal project with a very cheap microphone. But the final rendering was good.
