I had the recorder very close to his mouth and i also used a limiter to increase the volume. However, i couldn't get rid of the background noise without making the breathing sound awful.

While editing the sound i posted prior to this, some sort of glitch in logic's system gave me this. I made sure to keep it for freesound. It's just a few seconds of a glitchy, vocal-esque sound. Already mixed it together somewhat. It might be good for dj's.

In tokyo everyone lives on top of each other, so practicing an instrument can be a hassle as you dont want to annoy your neighbors, especially if your a beginner. So budding musicians head out to the park where they can practice. The park near me has two or three different instruments being practiced everyday, ill do my best to record and upload as many as possible.

I live next to a car repair place and they have a couple of hot rods that they fire up now and then. This is a '55 chevy and to me the idle sounds like a dragon breathing. He does a couple of slight burnouts and you can hear the echo off the buildings. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak and edited with sony vegas with one track duplication. It's a recording i have made accidentally during a rock band's rehearsal. The zoom h2 was used as a microphone for vocalist. I have accidentally caused some feedback squealing.
